Working hours

This score relates to the number of hours you have logged for the week and is measured against the working hours target assigned to you for the week.

In the feedback summary above, the target for this score is shown as 37.5 hours (your target may be different and this, depending on your agreement with your employer). This means that the person should normally log 37.5 hours for the week to achieve a score of 100.

How does the Score get calculated?

The score gets calculated by figuring the actual hours worked as a percentage of the number of hours you were supposed to work. In the example above the person worked 17.5 hours out of a possible 37.5 hours. Thus the score is calculated as (17.5 / 37.5) * 100 = 46.67. The result is then rounded to 47.

What does the Weighted Score mean?

Each of the scores in the feedback summary is not of equal importance to your employer. For this reason each score is allocated a weighting. If a score is of less importance to your employer, the score's weight will be lower than the weight of the other scores.

The Weighted Score is calculated by applying the weight of the score to the score achieved. In the example above the score has been allocated a weight of 10 (which is a low score when compared to the rest of the scores). For this example the Weighted Score is calculated as (47 / 100) * 10 = 4.7. The result is then rounded to 5.

Tip

More hours logged on a timesheet, improves the score on Working Hours.
